Our vacuum grinding system is virtually dust free and can be used in any environment, causing no damage to any existing fixtures and fittings.

 

The basic process is:

 

• First, we “flash grind’ the surface to remove any contaminants that would prevent adhesion for our product. This stage also helps to provide a smoother surface to give us a more accurate read on the floor when using our straight edge/level method.

• We check the floor using a lasers and/or straight edge to find any irregularity within the surface (high or low spots)

​

• The next stage is for us to apply a coat (or multiple coats depending on the surface) of primer/adhesive for the levelling compound to adhere to. This stage is often bypassed by many but is crucial for the longevity of this process.

​

• After we are satisfied that we have an accurate layout of the surface, we can pour the levelling compound based on what we have marked out.

​

• Finally, after allowing for curing (hardening) of the material, we go over the entire floor again checking for any remaining imperfections (high / low points) and go through the whole thing with grinders to ensure a completely quality &. flat surface, on which your floor can now be installed.

 

Depending upon your needs, we can offer only patch fills, if possible, or full floor ‘’flooding’’ is generally the most popular option.

 

This process can be carried out in Industrial, Commercial, Municipal or Residential areas.
